Along with necessity (and gender aside), Chris Muth is the mother of invention. The midwife? His company Dangerous Music, makers of analog backend gear for digital recording rigs.

Chris was at the most recent AES show showing off his Dangerous gear. We spoke with him about the inspiration behind the company, their best-selling D-Box, and how he feels about analog vs digital summing. Also discussed: imitators, stupid buttons.
