If setting up a seemingly simple two-channel stereo system can turn out at times to be complicated, then how much more of a headache can multiple speakers systems ranging from 5.1 setups to the more advanced WFS system can get? More speakers, more components, and more connections will always equate to more complexity. The dbx DriveRack PA+, successor to the best-selling speaker management system DriveRack PA, gives you the span of control for even the most complicated of setups that will be showcased at the 127th AES convention.

The DriveRack PA+ stays true to its predecessor's capabilities while adding a little bit more. This new speaker management system has a new and updated library of stored speaker and amplifier settings, a time-saving feature found on dbx DriveRack products for instantaneous speaker and amplifier setup without resorting to devising one's own settings. To facilitate users to update preset settings with ease, USB connectivity is now available. Other new features include fulltime RTA, front panel mute buttons, a faster Auto EQ Wizard, and the improved Setup Wizard that includes the new Auto Level Wizard function. All these functions make the DriveRack PA+ instantly useable for novices that it virtually becomes idiot proof.

Driverack PA+ Rear Panel

The dbx DriveRack PA+ still retains industry-trusted features such as the dbx compressor/limiter module, the 6-channel output system that includes parametric EQs, and Peak Plus limiters, the patented dbx Advanced Feedback Suppression (AFS) system, and the 120A subharmonic synthesizer function to beef up the low ends of the spectrum. This new speaker management system still has two independent signal paths, linked DPS processing power, a linkable 28-band graphic equalizer, and easy-to-use crossover function and alignment delay. All in all, these feature make the DriveRack PA+ easy to use and capable of yielding professional results fast.

The dbx DriveRack PA+ is now being shipped out and bears an MSRP of 749.95 USD, very much the same price as that of its predecessor.
