De La Mancha Subhuman: Drop Some Mad Bass All Over The Place
April 04, 2008
Pumping out plug-ins like some sort of plug-in pumping factory, de la Manch announces updates to "subhuman," a specialized double oscillator synth responsible for low down bass lines or sub-bass kicks and drops. A pitch envelope, contoured graphical envelopes and more than just envelopes have all been added.
Subhuman now also features note-on sync, waveform display and oscillator phase. It uses a new pure sine oscillator for Osc1 that's generated by real-time math. Add onto the pure sine waveform with Osc2 detuned and out of phase to fatten it up more.
Fast features:
- Two oscillators with independant volume, detune and phase
- Osc2 has 11 different waveforms
- Osc2 can be sync'd to Osc1
- Note-on sync option
- Resonant LP filter
- Tempo sync LFO to modulate LP filter cut-off, 5 waveforms, note-on sync, depth & phase
- ADSR volume envelope
- ASR envelope for pitch and LFO
- All envelopes can have each section with a different contour
- Graphical display of envelopes and waveforms
- Drum mode removes sustain section of envelopes
- Overdrive for more dirt
- Octave selector to reduce master pitch for simple layering
- MIDI CC / MIDI learn on all controls
- Mono / poly options with envelope retrigger and portamento
