Detunized DTS018 - Hamm and Eggs: New Live Pack Of Hammond B2 Organ, Leslie 251, And Trek TP-2B On Eggs
Live Pack maker Detunized.com is now serving ham and eggs all day long, courtesy of its new release, DTS018 - Hamm and Eggs. This new Ableton Live Pack features the sounds of the Hammond B2 Organ, Leslie 251, and the Trek TP-2B on Eggs.
Hamm and Eggs, according to Detunized, introduces an advanced emulation of a Hammond B2 organ with a retrofitted Trek II TP-2B percussion module. For maximum flexibility the Live Pack offers two different adaptations: Type A (called B2-A), which focuses on instant access to more common groups of parameters; and Type B (called B2-B), which has mapped the organs drawbars to distinct macro controls.
All registers, as well as the percussion module, are based on discrete two-channel sample sets. Channel 1 includes the sound of the organs' line out, while Channel 2 provides the sound of a Leslie 251 cabinet. All components and all registers can be mixed on demand.
In addition, the Live Pack contains four organ-like devices whose samples are the result of several audio processing steps on tape noises, a passing helicopter, and a group of trumpeters performing on Carls Bridge in Praha. All in all, Hamm and Eggs offers about 400 24-bit, 44 kHz looped samples in a key range of A0 to C6.
Hamm and Eggs features at a glance:
- 8 Instruments: B2-A, B2-B plus according light versions, Egg 1 to 4)
- Key range: A0 to C6
- 401 Looped 24-bit, 44 kHz samples
- Disk space: approximately 95 MB
- Requires Ableton Live 7 or higher
