Having covered the software side of things with the release of Pro Tools 8 already, DigiDesign brings the hardware to Winter NAMM 2009 with two new Pro Tools LE system bundles -- the 003 Factory Complete and 003 Rack Factory Complete systems. These bundles pair the 003 hardware interface with the Complete Production Toolkit, Pro Tools LE's new expansion option which adds a host of plugins for music and post production.

The Complete Production Toolkit really beefs up Pro Tools LE 8 with 7.1 surround mixing, and it supports 128 audio tracks at once to any LE 8 system. Plugins include the Eleven LE amp emulator, Structure LE sample player, Hybrid synthesizer, Smack! LE compressor, DINR LE noise reducer, TL Space convolution reverb, X-Form time compressor / expander / pitch shifter and Neyrinck SoundCode Stereo surround-to-stereo down mixer. The toolkit also unlocks a cache of processing tools including Beat Detective rhythm analysis, DigBase Pro file manager and DigiTranslator 2.0, which allows importing and exporting of OMF, AAF and MXF files.

The two available Complete Production Toolkit bundles, the 003 Factory Complete and 003 Rack Factory Complete offer Firewire-based interfacing with Pro Tools LE, providing loads of audio and MIDI I/O. The 003 Factory Complete doubles as a control surface while the 003 Rack Factory Complete fits in a 2U rack space.
