Discmakers Elite 2 Duplicating Station, And More - AES 2006

October 31, 2006
Discmakers
Discmakers shows a range of disc duplicating tools, including the Elite 2, which automatically burns and prints 25 CDs an hour, or 12 DVDs. The Reflex 1, another duplication tool, is basically a xerox machine for compact discs or DVDS. But wait, there's more! Have a look at Gearwire's Discmakers demo video from AES 2006.
Check out the whole range of Discmakers duplicator technologies at the official Discmakers website.

AARON BARBARICS: Hi. I'm Aaron Barbarics. I'm the business development manager for Disc Makers, and we're here at AES 2006, and I wanted to show you a few of our new products that we're displaying here at the show.

This one on my right is the Elite 2 which is an automated duplicating and printing station. You connect this to a PC or a Mac and you can stack 175 discs up and the system will automatically burn and print your CDs or DVDs. It'll do it at high speed. It'll do 25 CDs an hour, burned and printed, it actually looks like this, or it'll do up to 12 DVDs per hour, completely automatic.

From there, we go to the Reflex 1, which is a standalone 1:1 duplicator. So essentially, you put a master disc in, you put a blank disc in the bottom, push the green button, and you got a copy. It's like photocopier for CDs or DVDs. This will do about 12 CDs an hour or 7 DVDs an hour, and this is $279.

Right here, you have the Pico which is our newest piece of equipment. The Pico is an automated disc duplicator, doesn't print, it picks blank discs up from here, puts them in the burner, and puts the finished discs here on top. This will do about 6 to 7 DVDs an hour, about 12 to 15 CDs an hour, and it costs $699.
