Drumagog Audio Overivew Winter NAMM 2006
September 30, 2006
In this Winter NAMM 2006 audio interview, WaveMachine Labs talks to Gearwire about its Drumagog drum-replacement plugin for Windows and Mac. The program uses an advanced triggering engine to "listen" to a drum recording and accurately replace the original sounds with new drum samples of your choice. You can also use it to layer in fresh drum sounds over existing tracks -- or even send MIDI signals to an external drum module or sampler.
Version 4.06 adds compatibility with Mac OS, and works with any VST, AU, and RTAS compatible application. According to WaveMachine, the new version also includes an improved triggering engine, a live triggering mode, a built-in synthesizer, and many other improvements.
