Submersible Music Releases Drumcore LT And Drumcore Demo
For those who are unfamiliar with Drumcore, it is a software instrument which provides percussion grooves in both audio and MIDI forms. The full version (currently in v2.5) comes with a library of these grooves from several world class players such as Jeff Anthony (Sheryl Crow) and Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver). You can also purchase additional packages called "drum packs" from the Submersible Music website to build your collection.
Here's what Submersible Music had to say about the new Drumcore LT and the Drumcore demo:
Users simply download the free DrumCore LT player from www.submersiblemusic.com, then purchase their DrummerPack(s) and import the DrummerPack(s) into DrumCore LT. Then they can start writing songs using DrumCore LT and their favorite recording software (Cubase, Digital Performer, Logic, Live, Pro Tools, Sonar, etc.). Simply search, audition and drag-and-drop audio loops and MIDI beats from drumCore LT to your recording software. Plus you have access to the great-sounding MIDI drumkits using the MIDI instrument in LT. DrumCore LT libraries can be further expanded by purchasing more DrummerPacks or by upgrading to DrumCore. DrumCore LT only allows use of Submersible DrummerPack content. Full versions of DrumCore come with more content and allow importing any WAV, AIFF, REX2, Acid or MIDI files plus editing and creation of user MIDI drumkits.
The new DrumCore Demo is essentially DrumCore LT loaded with a minimal, example GrooveSet by Ben Smith, drummer for Heart and other artists (also included with DrumCore LT).
