Dunlop Kerry King Icon Series Keeps Your Sound Trapped In Purgatory
Nowadays, you don't need to be the most renowned guitarist in the world to have your own custom model guitar. Tom DeLonge's signature model strat is a shining example, and I think even the guy from Trivium has a custom model Dean guitar that anyone can get a hold of if they so desire.
If you're really someone in the world of guitar, you get your own signature model of everything -- from your axe to your amp to even strings. Kerry King (thanks also in part to Marshall at NAMM) now has his own strings, courtesy of Jim Dunlop.
One of the most revered guitarists on the metal scene, Kerry King is one of the brutal mutilators behind Slayer's head-splitting, time-boggling riffage. Someone who punishes the wires as much of King needs a durable string that can take a beating and like it.
The Kerry King Icon Series strings keep your madman, right hand wrist exercises not only from snapping strings but also from sounding like your rhythm player is just playing an indistinguishable seizure of tremolo picked notes. Thrash retains definition and clarity.
These strings run in high grade nickel-plated steel in gauges .010-.046, and if you tune your guitar strings to sub-rubber-band levels, they add on a .052 to keep things nice and tight.

what does the F stand for?
what does the F stand for? Kerry Fucking King? or what.
As ridiculous as it sounds,
As ridiculous as it sounds, you're right.
According to Wikipedia:
"King's acronym, KFK, was revealed to mean "Kerry Fucking King!" in the January 2007 Issue of Guitar World"
