Dynacord D12A And D12-3A

Dynacord may have announced the D12A and D12-3A back at Winter NAMM, but we though that their conspicuous absence from Summer NAMM was a good example of a trend. Many pro-audio manufacturers are skipping out on Summer NAMM in lieu of more industry-centric expos like Infocomm and AES. Is this a foretelling of Summer NAMM's impending demise, or will Summer NAMM just remain a smaller, consumer-targeted conference?

Dynacord is one of several big-name companies who'll be Summer NAMM no-shows: Audix, Mackie and Shure will all be absent -- all brands that are focused on the pro-end of the audio market.

The Dynacord D12A and D12-3A certainly fit into that product category aimed at the professional-buyer-demographic. The two powered speaker enclosures feature ElectroVoice drivers, digitally controlled internal amplifiers, and Dynacord's exclusive Voice Coil Tracking Protection system, which prtects the drivers from thermal overloads.
