EastWest Best Service Xample Chamber Ensemble: An Xemplary Software Instrument
Yes, yes, the new Xample Chamber Ensemble is a new software instrument that consists of multi-sampled solo instruments for chamber composition and other applications. Yes it includes 27 different instruments* including strings, woodwinds, harps, and mallets, not to mention tons of hand percussion**. Yes it was over two years in development, includes a feature called "Human Playing" and probably sounds fantastic.
What's more important, however, is that the release of EastWest Best Service Xample Chamber Ensemble means yet another press release from Best Service representing a hilariously earnest attempt at the English language that falls endearingly short of success.
Features of the EastWest Best Service Xample Chamber Ensemble Press Release include:
- "The instruments combine thousands and thousands of sounds clever and easy."
- "You can use very intuitive the big amount of alive and diversified playing styles . . . "
- "Due to the harmonic interacting of the Xsample [notice alternate spelling of "Xsample" . . . classic] Instruments and the Human Playback your notated ideas become alive in a musical interpreted manner."
- "Xsample works out an elaborated adaptation for the interface of the notation program Finale of Make Music and Sibelius."
If you crave more, the instructional manual is available for download from the EastWest website.
