EastWest Best Service Chris Hein Horns Vol. 1.5 Is 50% Hornier Than Vol. 1
The new EastWest Best Service Chris Hein Horns Vol. 1.5 features so many solo instrument articulations and editable parameters, it begs a really obvious question: if this level of Byzantine complexity is what is required to achieve human-like reproductions of solo brass instruments, isn't it just easier to learn to play the thing?
Still, for those who like their smooth jazz programmed and not performed, Chris Hein Horns Vol. 1.5 features nearly 18,000 samples totaling 2.8 gigabytes -- that's approximately 4,000 samples per instrument. Each note is represented by up to 20 different velocities, combined with 189 different variations.
Based on the popular NI Kontakt Player 2, a new interface affords seventy-two control features with 11 edit-pages and six DSP, EFX and twenty one convolution reverb programs. New control features include Key-Switch Present, Hot-Keys, Key-Vibrato and Real-Vibrato, Legato- and Glide-Mode, Growl-Control, Air-Control, Keys-Control, Spit-Control, Dirty-Notes, Breath Release-Trigger, and more.
The collection is available now for $399.99.
