Lying within this boutique pedal are three triode vacuum tubes that give you a total of up to six gain stages. Your pick attacks as you play your guitar respond with grace thanks to the drive knob simultaneously controlling gain at all cascaded stages to allow progressive clipping around the Tube Drive. Adding dirt to get those bluesy and mildly crunchy tones can be obtained at low gain settings, and cranking it up a little higher gets you that classic 70s overdriven tube amp tone; cranking it up higher than this gets you a distorted tone rich in harmonics.
