Electro-Harmonix Stereo Electric Mistress

August 07, 2007
Electro-Harmonix Stereo Electric Mistress at Summer NAMM 2007
The Electro-Harmonix Stereo Electric Mistress can be used as a chorus pedal, a flanger pedal, or both at the same time. Not different settings, but blendable effects. Felipe Sosa from Electro-Harmonix gives us a brief but tempting demo from the floor of Summer NAMM 2007.
More info is at the Electro-Harmonix official site.

FELIPE SOSA: And now we have the Stereo Electric Mistress. The Stereo Electric Mistress, like the original Electric Mistress has a flanger and it has a filter matrix, but it also comes with a chorus. Let me show you. When I have this knob up to 10 o'clock, the cyclical is removed and it is in the filter matrix. That means I can play a frozen flange. Let me show you.

It's the frozen flanger. We got modulation. Now, as I increase the knob, modulation begins...

...and I can also add the chorus.

See? And this is the first time you can combine flanging and chorusing in the same pedal, not different settings but blending them in, and it's stereo.

I need awesome gear... I'd like a free gear catalog!
