Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Plus And Transcending Reality
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tones of the Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Plus Reverb in this demonstration. We take you through the Spring, Hall, Room and Flerb (not to be confused with Freb) in this video.
Then, we take you into outer space with some mondo reverb tones. That's right. Mondo is coming back. . . in a big way.

J. IRVING-GILES: Hi. I'm J. Irving-Giles with Gearwire.Com, and today I'm here with the Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Reverb Plus. Now, everyone's familiar with the Holy Grail Reverb. It's one of the classic reverb stompboxes. What the plus adds is an amount knob which controls the speed of the reverb. We've got spring, hall, room, and Flerb which is flanger/reverb though it sounds like something from a Robin Williams children's movie, and also got the classic basic features like blend and it's basically simple operation. You stomp and it turns on. You stomp again and it turns off. So let's just take a look at some of the sounds in the Holy Grail Plus.
First, we're going to take a look at spring reverb on the Holy Grail Plus. First knob is the blend knob which determins the wet/dry mix. Keep that a little more than 50% so you can hear the effect pretty good but it's not overpower. The amount's just the speed of the reverb. Keep that at about 50% and see how that sounds.

Next we have a hall reverb. I'm going to kick up the blend a little bit so you can hear it a little better.

Next we have room 'verb.

And finally we have Flerb, a combination of flanger/reverb. It's an odd-sounding effect so let's give it a shot.
