Elysia Museq Parametric EQ Ist Für Ihre Musik Gut!
Elysia, makers of high-end signal processors, figures "hey, if you're gonna make a thing that sounds good, you might as well make it look good, too." Their newest unit, the Museq Parametric Equalizer, is no exception. You might be hesitant to actually grab the thing and use it, it looks so pretty.
Luckily, Ruben from Elysia is here to prod at the Museq for us, and to clarify the pronunciation of the unit's name ("music").
REUBEN DAVIES: Hello. My name is Reuben from Elysia, and I want to show you the new Museq, a new equalizer from Elysia, and it is a full, discrete class A unit with three parametric bands inside with shelving filters, and the inside topology is completely class A discrete unit so it sounds very transparent, very musician and the purpose for this unit is for mastering, for mixing engineers, for recording to do yes, and establish some changes in the color of a mix or to do a very fine mastering. The overall quality is very transparent, very clean, but also when you do a lot of gain in one band it sounds very music and musician and musical because that's the reason why we call that box Museq, and it's in the same shape as the Mpressor and the same overall build quality that you know from other Elysia products, and we've also added some a high pass filter, a low and high shelving. You can switch the control between cut and boost and also you switch the parametric bands with, you have to select the cue with one switch only. And you also have a feature which is called fine, and so the overall gain of each band is reduced in half, especially for mastering engineers.
Yeah. That's it in a short way. On our web site, you will find still lots more information in the future. Thank you.
