Eminence Speaker Test - 24 Different Speakers At WNAMM 2007
You might think that the noisy floor of WNAMM 2007 would be a terrible place to do critical listening testing of guitar cabinet speakers. Gearwire, with the help of Eminence Speakers and guitarist Tomo Fujita has proved that idea wrong.
We took advantage of speaker maker Eminence's large soundproof booth - set up on the show floor as the centerpiece of their display - to get the job done. Inside the booth, Eminence had already set up six 4x12" speaker cabinets. In each cab Eminence had loaded up four different speakers, making a total of 24 different speakers. With such a sweet setup, we couldn't pass up a chance to do some old-fashioned listening testing.
We tested each speaker individually with a close-positioned Shure SM57. Our guitarist for this test, Tomo Fujita, played pretty much exactly the same demonstration riffage through each one. Check it out and enjoy.

Eminence Speaker Test
I am looking to replace the Wharfedale in my AC15CC. This turned out to be very useful.
Thank You

Nicely done. Hard to tell a difference between these speakers except for the contrast of the Lil Buddy next to the Ramrod and Copperhead. Lil Buddy is darker. The rest sound the same but I have incredibly cheap computer speakers with which to judge. Probably best to just buy the cheapest one. I must say though it would be nice to mix a Lil Buddy with any of the other 10's for a well mixed sound.

Why would you only show a quick clean clip when 99 % of people will be playing with gain Thanks for the waste of time.
