Evans “Inked by Evans” Program: Personalize Bass Drumheads With Custom Color Graphics

January 20, 2010
Evans "Inked by Evans" program lets you customize and personalize your Evans bass drumheads with colorful graphics.

If you've always dreamed of having a special image imprinted onto your bass drumhead, sitting there waiting for you to hit it, then today is your lucky day. Through the new "Inked by Evans" program, Evans is making it possible to customize and personalize your Evans bass drumheads any way you like.

Using Evans’ new high-resolution printing system, you can print any large, color graphic onto the drumhead. Choose from the company's many Showcase designs by well-known musicians and graphic designers, including Alchemy Gothic, Lethal Threat, Al McWhite, and Woodstock artwork; or, choose from a gallery of textures, nature scenes, abstract photography, and clever graphics. If none of those suit your fancy, upload your own graphics and custom text and have them laid out over the gallery designs.

The “Inked by Evans” program will be launching soon. For more information, visit inkedbyevans.com.

QUALITY is questionable?

By: The Anonymous Coward (not verified)

The quality is just not there. The black inks looked totally washed out (more gray then solid rich blacks). It takes 4 weeks for them to ship. You cannot call anyone with questions. If you want a Evans drumhead with your graphics, the best place to go is Vintage Logos Inc. They use Evans heads and the print quality is excellent. You can speak directly to a production artist if you have questions about your digital file. Plus it only took 6 days for them to make mine. They have been in business for over 10 years. 888-351-0075 is their Toll Free number. VintageLogos.com
