Eventide Cash For Clunkers Hardware Trade-Up Offer: Out With The Old, In With The New

April 22, 2010
Eventide announced its Cash For Clunkers program, in which you can trade in your old Eventide processors for new ones.

The auto industry had its turn and now the powers that be want to help out the music industry instead. Designed to help you trade in old gear for new gear, Eventide's Cash for Clunkers trade-up program will let you trade in your old Eventide processors for credit against the purchase of a new Eventide Eclipse V4, H7600, or H8000FW Ultra-Harmonizer.

This offer is good through June 30, 2010, via a participating Eventide authorized dealer or Eventide customer service.

About Cash for Clunkers, Eventide's VP of sales and marketing Ray Maxwell comments, "We want to reward our loyal customers with an opportunity to trade-up their older Eventide rack units for our state-of-the-art rack processors. The classic Eventide processors of the past have fueled the creative fires of thousands of artists and audio pros but, lacking modern features like digital I/O, and lower noise floor, some of these units are now gathering dust.”

As a tribute to the old dusty units, Eventide is asking owners to submit either current or vintage photos of these units for display on eventide.com. The company will waive the balance of the trade-up price for the winning photo.

To participate in the Cash for Clunkers program, fill out the Cash for Clunkers submission online form completely, including the serial number and model number of the unit being traded in and the product that you want to purchase.

Eventide will email you confirmation of your submission form and will issue a return authorization (RMA) for the return of the product to Eventide at your expense. Upon receipt and evaluation of the unit, you will receive another authorization email to purchase your new unit at a selected dealer or from Eventide customer service.

Trade-ins are not accepted at the dealer; all trade-ins must be sent to Eventide customer service to be eligible for the program, and a valid RMA must accompany every shipment.

The following Eventide rack processors are eligible for trade-up credit: H3500 ($1,500), H3000 ($1,500), 1745 / 1745M ($1,200), Omnipressor ($1,200), Instant Flanger ($1,200), Instant Phaser ($1,200), H910 ($1,200), H949 ($1,200), H969 ($1,200), SP2016 ($1,200), DSP4000 ($1,200), DSP4500 ($1,200), and GTR4000 ($1,200). Do you have one of these to unload?

Trade-up credits are applicable for the purchase of the following products at the MSRP price indicated: Eclipse V4 ($2,995), H7600 ($4,495), and H8000FW ($5,995)
