Eventide E-Control: Plugin Gives Pro Tools More Control; Just Like The Constitution Can Give The Vice President More Control
Combining the full potential of some of Eventide's hardware processors like the Eclipse, H8000 series processors or H7600 with the massive appeal is a powerful combo. The Eventide E-Control RTAS plugin allows for the two powers to optimally align with Pro Tools approved software control of the aforementioned hardware. We check it out at the 125th AES Convention.
DAN GILESPIE: Hi. This is Dan Gilespie from Eventide and I’d like to show you guys our new E-Control plugin. E-Control is an RTAS plugin for Pro Tools which allows you to control the H8000 FireWire the H8000 FireWire, the H7600, or the Eclipse.
It instantiates in your Pro Tools session and allows you to automate up to eight parameters using these controls and allows you to save you your 8800 data with your session, and allows you to control the parameters from the H8000 or vice versa.
The plugin will be shipping by the end of the year. It’s going into public beta in a couple of weeks. It will cost $199;however, for people who buy an H8000 between now and the end of the year will get it for free, and that’s basically it so thanks.
