It's a "spooktacular" time of year, meaning that certain Eventide plugins are so cheap, it's scary. Eventide announced special pricing for its H910 and H949 Harmonizer Pro Tools TDM plugin combo, which is available from now until Halloween on October 31, 2010. This limited-time offer makes the TDM plugins available together for just $99, instead of as part of the Anthology II bundle ($1,195) of 15 Eventide plugins.

The specially priced plugin combo takes on the features of the original H910 Harmonizer. As Eventide notes, the H910 Harmonizer was the world's first pitch changer that forever changed the audio industry in 1975; with the H910, the word "glitch" entered the pro audio lexicon. The H910 was used by the likes of Frank Zappa and Jimmy Page in their live guitar rigs, and by David Bowie and numerous others. The H910 plugin emulates the features of the original unit and includes 1975-era push button delays and pitch shifting, old school charm, and more.

Likewise, the H949 borrows from the H949 Harmonizer and takes things further with the addition of a randomizer, flanger, and a repeat feature that freezes the audio in the buffer. The H949 also includes an advanced de-glitching algorithm.

The H910 / H949 Combo is fully compliant with ICON, D-Control, D-Command, Venue, D-Show, and Pro Tools 8.x, and it is Mac-, Universal Binary-, Vista-, and Windows XP-compatible.

After October 31st, these two plugins will only be available with the Anthology II bundle, which offers the following plugins: EQ Filter Set, E-Channel, Ultra-Channel, EQ45 Parametric Equalizer, Precision Time Align, Quadravox, Instant Phaser, Instant Flanger, OmniPressor, H910, H949, H3000 Band Delays, H3000 Factory, Eventide Reverb, and Octavox.
