Version 2.4 software for the Eventide TimeFactor (shown here) and ModFactor stompboxes is now available as a free update for registered users.

New features added to both the TimeFactor and the ModFactor include the following: 

• Plug-and-play MIDI remote control of Eclipse or other Factor stompboxes
• Now, one stompbox can provide master tempo control, preset change, and parameter control for all connected Eventide stompboxes, as well as Eclipse
• Enhanced MIDI Clock functionality
• Improved MIDI Clock reception
• TimeFactor and ModFactor now come loaded with 100 factory presets
• Expression Pedal programming has been simplified
• The Encoder can be used to fine-tune all knob parameters
• In Bank Mode, the Encoder can now be used to rapidly scroll through presets

Improvements exclusive to the TimeFactor include more authentic-sounding controls for Bits, Filter, and Feedback; and the addition of a Tape Saturation parameter. Likewise, the ModFactor now offers the Classic Phase Ninety Phaser, a new classic Chorus algorithm, an Output Level Knob in Rotary, plus the capability of choosing between 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-pole filters for a wider variety of phaser sounds.
