Programmer and synth aficionado Daniel Maurer and FabFilter have released the new Synth Classics (Mac / Win) sound set created especially for the FabFilter Twin 2 software synthesizer.

Synth Classics includes over 150 classic synth presets, featuring leads, pads, plucked sounds, and a vintage polysynth selection, all programmed by Maurer. Useful parameters are assigned to Twin 2's Mod wheel, sustain pedal, and X-Y pads so that you can quickly personalize the presets for your music.

According to FabFilter, the sound set was inspired by the way FabFilter Twin 2 reproduces and improves both the sound and flexibility of the analog synths Maurer used to work with. You can use Synth Classics to bring back your own fond synth memories, as well as make some new ones too.
