Three new Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster electric guitars are due to hit the market: the American Special Telecaster, American Special Stratocaster, and American Special Stratocaster HSS.

All three guitars feature alder bodies with gloss urethane finishes, 9.5-inch radius maple necks with jumbo frets, and Texas Special pickups. The Stratocaster HSS, however, has an Atomic humbucking bridge pickup.



The American Special Telecaster, available in olympic white and three-color sunburst, offers a vintage-style string-through-body Telecaster bridge, with three brass saddles and a black pickguard. Likewise, the American Special Stratocaster, which is available in candy apple red and two-color sunburst, has a vintage-style synchronized tremolo and a white pickguard. Lastly, the American Special Stratocaster HSS has a rosewood fingerboard, a black pickguard, and vintage-style synchronized tremolo; it's available in black and three-color sunburst.
