At the 2006 Summer NAMM Show, we’re very excited to introduce the Fender Classic Player Series which is an extension of our very popular classic series which are our affordable vintage reissue models. These three models have been completely redesigned and overhauled by senior master builders in Fender’s Custom Shop. Each builder got in a specific guitar and completely went through the specs and hot-rodded and modded these guitars. We’re talking big frets, locking tuners, two-point vintage tremolos that have never been available in the 20 years in the Custom Shop, outside of the Custom Shop, as well as custom colors like this [PH] Pale Sonic Blue, Desert Sands. Also available in [PH] No-Caster Blond, custom switching. We got a Tele with four-way switching and an S1 switch.

These instruments also feature Custom Shop 69 pickups, Twisted Tele, and the Custom Shop Broadcaster pickup as well so it’s completely highly featured, designed by the Custom Shop, which is the premier place for guitar design. We’re pleased to offer the Classic Player Series. Available now.
