Fender FM DSP Amplifiers

September 21, 2006
Summer NAMM 2005 Fender FM DSP Amplifiers - Gearwire.com
Fender's FM DSP models are "practice" guitar amplifiers that redefine the category by stuffing a big library of tones and DSP effects into a small footprint. Enabled with a taste of Fender's G-DEC processing technology, the FM DSP 15 and FM DSP 25 are what you need when a flexible, portable amp with classic tones is on your target list. Affordable and accurate modelling plus fifteen onboard effects in a lightweight package spells FM DSP.

SHANE NICHOLAS: Hi everybody. I’m Shane Nicholas from Fender Amplifiers here to talk to you about some of our new products. The FM DSP’s are brand new here for summer 2005. FM 15 DSP, FM 25 DSP. These are very affordable amps that give you some of the technology that’s in our G-DAC which is the product of the year as far as I’m concerned, but we’ve got amp modeling, DSP effects, and just simplicity of use. I’ll show you a couple of sounds here, here over on the first channel, which is just a regular Fender Blackface clean channel.

You go over to your second channel and you have 16 different amp types, everything from an acoustic sound...

...to a jazz preset...

Put a little chorus on there.

You can cut your mids a little which is the teen EQ setting.

So, very easy to use, tons of sounds, and very, very affordable. Best of all, they’re Fenders.

I need awesome gear... I'd like a free gear catalog!
My opinion is awesome. I'd like to take a gear survey
