SHANE NICHOLAS: Hi there. Shane Nicholas here for Fender Amplification, here to tell you about the G-DEC 30. The G-DEC 30 is an upgraded version of our world-famous, award-winning G-DEC, which is a guitar digital entertainment center, the first time anyone’s ever plugged drum sounds, bass sounds, backing tracks into a guitar amp.

The G-DEC 30, as opposed to the original G-DEC, has a little more of everything: more power, more inputs and outputs on the back, more patterns onboard that you can play along with, everything from R&B to hip hop to surf to you name it, it’s in there. And then we also have footswitch capability. Our new ULT-4 footswitch is bidirectional meaning that it sends information back and forth and it only uses a 1/4” cable. It’s pretty cool. If you hold down the tuner button, and you’ll see that it’s going to display a letter E on my E string there that I’m in tune. You can also start and stop the sequencer from here.
