Fender Mustang III, IV, And V Digital Modeling Amps: Sound Great, Learn To Count In Latin (Video)
February 02, 2011
They may be a 64-year-old company, but you can't say that Fender is mired in the past. The new Fender Mustang Digital Amps represent some of the best-sounding modeling amplifiers on the market, and the recent Winter NAMM show saw the expansion of the line with the Mustang III, IV, and V models.
The Mustang III is a 1x12 combo amp and the V is a 150-watt half-stack rig. What we listened to for this demo was the Fender Mustang IV, a 100-watt, 2x12 stereo comb with a slew of impressive tones ranging from modern high-gain to classic Fender clean. Check it out.

Mustang 3
Just purchased the Mustang 3; 100 watt and am very pleased with its sound and performance & features, Big sound and all the settings i will ever need in a compact amp, very verstile and portable, can mic the the amp on stage , and fill the room as if i was using a big stack amp and now no need to haul the big bulky cabinets. Thx Fender
