CARLOS SEPULVEDA: Yeah. My name is Carlos Sepulveda. I play bass for Hazel Witch.
PATRICK OGLE: So, you play a Fender. Is that a P-Bass?
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: Yeah it is.
PATRICK OGLE: What year is it?
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: I have no idea. What I know is that it's made in Mexico.
PATRICK OGLE: It's a Mexican P-Bass. You probably knew that the Mexican Fender guitars are good. I mean there's nothing wrong with them. I mean --
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: Yeah. I mean I'd rather have something else, but --
PATRICK OGLE: What would you rather have?
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: I want an Ibanez RX something.
PATRICK OGLE: It's not like a Warwick or something like that?
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: No. No. No.
PATRICK OGLE: Not a Rickenbacker?
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: No. No. With the Bartolini pickups, those sort of things.
PATRICK OGLE: Oh Ibanezes rock. That why you want that.
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: Um, I guess.
PATRICK OGLE: So I take it that that wasn't your normal bass rig?
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: No it's not.
PATRICK OGLE: So what do you usually use?
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: I use a Gallien-Krueger with a 15" bottom speaker which is big, and on top what I use are two 10s, and the bass head is 700 watts which is very good.
PATRICK OGLE: So that's a good -- I mean I can't imagine you wanting another amp, right?
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: No. [OVERLAPPING]
PATRICK OGLE: That's exactly about as good as it gets, right?
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: Yeah.
PATRICK OGLE: So what is it like coming in and, again, I asked you about the drums doing that but what is it like for you walking in and having to deal with another amp you're not used to?
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: It's a pain. It's a pain because certainly you're used to on sound and then you come here and you have something different, you have to compensate and mess with the knobs and stuff, you know.
PATRICK OGLE: You know I saw you fooling with it before you play and like you're getting [OVERLAPPING]
CARLOS SEPULVEDA: Yeah. I just wanted to get so many sounds and then I'd pick the one I liked or what I mean sounds the best. [INDISCERNIBLE]
PATRICK OGLE: All right.
