Fender Celebrates 60th Anniversary With Presidential Select Stratocaster, Wine
MIKE ELDRED: Hi. I'm Mike Eldred from the Fender Custom Shop. One of the things that we wanted to point out that we're doing to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Fender, we've done Stratocasters called the Presidential Select Stratocaster, 60th anniversary for Fender. It's the only piece off from the Fender Custom Shop this year that has the 60th anniversary logo inlaid on the fingerboard. The top is flamed maple and it has been stained with grape must and has custom designed pickups, gold hardware on it, beautiful guitar, flamed maple neck, and the thing that's unique about this guitar is it's offered -- it comes with a blend of wine that we've had custom-blended for us from Hill Family Estate up in Napa Valley. We sat down with them, they came up with four blends. They flew it out to Scottsdale, Arizona and sat down with the president of Fender and several other individuals and went through and picked out, out of four blends, we picked out two, we eliminated two and then we finally picked out one blend and it's all hand selected and unique bottled. We picked up a bottle and everything, and what it is is it's a blend of Cabernet and a blend of Merlot and so it comes with the guitar. So, with the guitar you get a six-pack case that's made in our plant from Ensenada, and it's made from all guitar wood, so this is Paloscrito, it's also inside is spruce, and it also has an acoustic bracing on the inside and there's the six bottles of this wine in each case. It's a limited production. There's only 100 pieces of this available and there's only 100 cases available to the public. It's a global number so that's 100 guitars for the whole world and 100 cases of wine for the whole world to celebrate the 60th anniversary. An instantly collectible item that is just part of our celebration from the Fender Custom Shop for the 60th anniversary of Fender Musical Instruments.

Gillian the point is to be quick, discreet, and efficient with your movements. Upon walking out on stage, sit ASAP while the performers are bowing. Otherwise you hover in an uncertain manner. When they're bowing after, stay seated, again, to avoid unnecessary hovering. When the last performer walks past, get up and follow (like a runt ducking). Bottom line, move with confidence it's the uncertainty that audience members pick up on, and destracts from the overal presentation.
