Tubes run the gamut in the Fink Audio CS2-FA dual tube channel strip. The CS2-FA has two channels of tube 610-style mic pre, three-band tube Pultec-style EQ, and tube 1176-style compression. The CS2-FA is equipped with a preamp, equalizer and limiter, and is ready for recording dual mono or linked stereo.

There's much that you can do with the channel strip: you can track two different microphones through it; record a stereo pair of mics; loop through it during mixdown; link it in stereo and use it as a bus processor for vocals, instruments, percussion, and the like; or use it as an analog stereo mastering processor.

Now let's look at the features for each section. In the preamp section, you have a three-tube preamp in the Putnam console style with continuous gain and level controls. Meanwhile, the equalizer section offers a passive parametric three-band EQ in the classic Pultec style, with standard frequencies and curves. The Limiter Section features a two-tube implementation of the UREI 1176 and preserves the FET attenuator character and controls of the original.
