Flux Epure II TDM

Pro Tools TDM users get more EQ options thanks to Flux Epure II TDM. It's the TDM version of Flux's five band EQ that uses state-space implementation to optimize the signal-to-noise ratio regardless of settings. Many digital EQs can worsen the SNR by boosting the noise level of negative gain values.

An A / B morphing system also meshes with the functions for Epure for efficient EQ curve control. Other features include a new preset manager that allows you to save global presets made from two separate presets and accounting for the A / B morphing slider's position. Factory presets are included to get you going right away.

Features for every section include:

  • Individual bypass
  • The filter type can be set to low cut, low shelving, peak, hi shelving, hi cut
  • The gain be set from -24 dB to +24 dB
  • The frequency range covers the whole bandwidth
  • The Q factor can be adjusted from 0.1 to 10

Other included functions that increase ease of use:

  • Copy A and Copy B duplicate the twenty settings of a slot to the other in one click
  • X2 and /2 affect the gain value for every equalizer section
  • Invert turns the positive gain values to negative ones and vice versa
