Fohhn Linea LX-600 and LX-601

German pro audio manufacturing firm Fohhn proudly announces that its latest offering is now shipping. The Fohhn Linea LX-600 and LX-601 are two new loudspeakers that are the latest members of the LX line of speakers. Both speakers are now being distributed by Systems Workshop Distribution to offer solutions for both fixed installation and mobile sound use.

The LX-600 and LX-601 are both passive two-way speakers with a power handling capability of 1000W at 8 ohms. Each unit houses 6" x 6.5" speakers and 4" x 1" compression drivers with waveguide. The 140 x 25 (H x V) dispersion ensures that the audience directly receives the sound with reduction of reverberation from floor and ceiling. Weighing at just 28 kg per unit, these speakers are practical for a variety of situations.

The LX-600 is most suitable for fixed installation applications and is fitted with an 8-pin Phoenix terminal. Its metal-strengthened birch plywood housing is sleek in design, making it suitable for both modern and historic settings. The LX-601, its mobile counterpart, has two Speakon connectors and integrated handles at the top and bottom. The additional PU coating for the housing allows the LX-601 to withstand the stress of touring. Add to that easy tripod operation and quick setup, the LX-601 is just the perfect roadworthy solution with line array aspects.
