Furman IT-20 II Shown At AES Convention

Furman IT-20 II

Furman has unveiled some new audio goodies at AES, one of them being the IT-20 II, which gets rid of audio hum. With the IT-20 II's advanced filtering, audio and video come in with pristine quality. With SMP non-sacrifical surge suppression, E.V.S. protection, Linear Filtering Technology, and laboratory grade digital voltmeter, AC noise will no longer terrorize you.

SMP+ (Series Multi-Stage Protection Plus)

Furman's SMP+ surge suppression goes above and beyond normal surge suppression. Traditionally, surge suppression circuits cannot handle multiple transient voltage spikes. With SMP+, these spikes are no problem and will not cause any damage to your surge suppressor. Unprecedented levels of protection offer safety from surges that will allow you to sleep easier.

LiFT (Linear Filtering Technology)

In the past, AC filters and conditioners with non-linear designs could cause audio and video performance to suffer due to resonant peaking - adding up to 10 dB of unwanted noise. LiFT uses linear filtering to remedy this problem without risking lost data or damaged digital converters.

E.V.S. (Extreme Voltage Shutdown)

Overvoltage circuitry is taken to the extreme here as an added protective measure. If there's an overvoltage condition, the system shuts off incoming power until it is resolved.
