Future Retro Revolution And Quasimidi Rave-O-Lution: Revolutions In Progress
In the previous video, Jason Donnelly [more commonly known as DJ Puzzle] showed us how to connect the Future Retro Revolution to an external device to operate as a MIDI slave and he demonstrated the difference in sound between using the Quasimidi Rave-O-Lution through the Revolution and using it alone.
In this video, DJ Puzzle jams with both units, displaying the range of effects and filters you can apply to a drum beat or other external source.
JASON DONNELLY: So there you have it, the Future Retro Revolution. We used it as an external signal processor with it’s built-in DSP, reverb, chorus, delays, and what not. We also used it as a filter. In the next few minutes, I’m just going to do a live jam with the two pieces.
