BFD Signature Snares Vol. 2's snares were captured and recorded in the same room as previous Yamaha expansion kits and other expansion packs, at Omega Studios in Rockville, Maryland. The snares have a tight, precise, playable sound that combines well with any other kit pieces in the BFD library. In addition to the standard snare articulations, the expansion pack includes rim clicks, positional sensing when used with electronic drums, and other custom articulations.

For current, registered owners of BFD2 and one or more of the Yamaha Expansion Kits (Maple Custom Absolute, Oak Custom, BFD Cocktail, BFD Heavy, or Signature Snares Vol.1), the BFD Signature Snares Vol. 2 library is priced at just $50.
