G7th Crystal Capo Limited Editions: Guitar Capos Make Sparkly Debut
Special guitars need special bling, and G7th Capos is there to provide it. The capo-making company has announced a new series of Limited Edition crystal capos to be introduced officially at Winter NAMM 2011.
The collectible crystal capos are based on the G7th Performance Capo and were developed in conjunction with a UK jeweler and design house, because they are, essentially, jewelry for guitars. Each Limited Edition crystal capo features hand-inlaid, customized Swarovski crystals. According to G7th Capos, each capo is a masterpiece, suitable for the extravagant guitarist or collector.
Four exclusive designs have been made for just for NAMM; two of them are shown here. G7th will be showing the new capos at the G7th booth (Hall E, Booth 1424), and a number of world renowned artists will be launching the crystal capos at the booth on Saturday and Sunday of the show (January 15 and 16, 2011).
Brace yourself for the price tag -- prices start from $599 (MSRP). The manufacturer said that despite the challenges in the economy, G7th expects to receive substantial orders during the show.
About the Limited Edition crystal capos, G7th CEO Nick Campling comments, "G7th aims to be at the forefront of capo design. Since the launch of G7th in 2004, the Performance and Nashville capos have had great success in the mass market. People told us we were crazy charging $50 for a capo and the market rose to buy a quality product.
