Gadow Guitars has always had real musicians in mind, taking into consideration music at the grassroots level. With the belief that "music" has become a soul-less piece of money-making machinery without any consideration for the real musician at all, they have created new designs for their custom and classic basses. After being stopped from production last 2006, the Gadow Guitars Custom and Classic Basses spring back to life and is reintroduced to firmly plant Gadow's manifesto and promote its goals.

Gadow has always made its instruments with high-quality tone woods and hardware, and the Custom and Classic basses are no different. The Gadow Custom bass has a swamp ash body, figured maple top, and active Bartolini pickups and preamps. Taking it just a little notch lower without compromising Gadow handmade quality, the Classic has passive Bartolini pickups fixed to a swamp ash body.

The Gadow Custom and Classic Basses will only be available at six authorized dealers with retail prices starting at 1,599.00 USD. As with all of its handmade instruments, each bass is set up, tested, and signed by Ryan Gadow himself as a mark of the high quality that Gadow Guitars is known for.
