Galbanum Architecture Waveforms 2010: Huge Wavetable Collection Released
More wavetables than you have ever seen in one spot have been rounded up for Galbanum Architecture Waveforms 2010, a massive collection of over 25,000 original wavetables in several industry-standard formats.
For those not in the know, wavetables are single cycle periodic waveforms that form the most fundamental building block of synthesis. They are sound generators and can be thought of as the oscillator of a classic analog synth, but they provide more variability in wave-shape and spectrum, notes Galbanum. They are chiefly responsible for determining a sound’s primary timbre or tone color.
To make it easier to browse the collection's 25,724 waveforms, Architecture Waveforms 2010 contents are organized into 102 folder classes -- though 102 folder is a still a lot to go through. The versatile collection of wavetables is available in six different formats: 64-bit FP WAV, 32-bit FP WAV, 24-bit WAV, Native Instruments Absynth GLY, Camel Audio Alchemy OSC / LFO, and U&I Software MetaSynth Wave. With that many formats to choose from, Architecture Waveforms 2010 can be used with many of the major synthesizers and samplers out there.
Note that the collection includes only the formats you pay for; unless you purchase all six, you won't get all six types automatically.
Architecture Waveforms 2010 features:
