Gearwire Graveyard: The Ondes Martenot
July 17, 2007
The Ondes Martenot has long been an obsession of many electronic composers. First given life in 1928, and exploding onto the market as the first commercially viable electronic instrument; the Ondes has a secured place in electronic music history. In this episode of Gearwire Graveyard, Bill Holland talks a little about its history and the men who made it famous.
More info on the Ondes Martenot can be found at the keyboard museum.
