Gibson DSRX Reverse Explorer Has A Really Good Personality
March 18, 2009
Although it may not be the most conventional beauty of a guitar, you can tell by looking at the DSRX Reverse Explorer that Gibson Custom Shop had some wild ideas. Thought it's pretty different in appearance from anything else Gibson has done, it stays true to providing quality tone and great feel -- its neck is even a hybrid of the classic 50s design and the speedier 60s design.
Lightning Bolt O'Malley has very few qualms with the design after having the chance to play it, but he's still not sold on the tuners. Ah, well. I guess it's like that old saying goes: you can tune a piano, but you can't tune a Gibson DSRX Reverse Explorer.
