Make mo' music with the new Gibson Keb' Mo' Bluesmaster ($3,868 MSRP), a flat-top acoustic-electric guitar featuring a small body, an L.R. Baggs Element pickup, and a soundhole-mounted volume control.

Based on Gibson’s L-Series acoustic guitars, the Bluesmaster takes the L-Series to the next level and adds updated features such as a scalloped-X-braced top made of solid Adirondack red spruce; solid mahogany back and sides; quarter-sawn solid mahogany neck, a bone nut and saddle; and an East Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Vintage touches include a 12th-fret neck / body joint that is said to position the bridge in the body’s sweet spot.

Each guitar has a cream top, back, and fingerboard binding, herringbone trim, mother of pearl inlays, and a double-ring soundhole rosette; choose from an Antique Natural or Vintage Sunburst nitrocellulose finish (with double antiquing). What's more, the Keb' Mo's comes with a Gibson hardshell case, an interior label signed by Keb’ Mo’ himself, an owner’s manual, and Gibson’s Gold Warranty.

Get it while you can, because the Keb' Mo' Bluesmaster is a limited-edition model and only 300 will be made. For more information, please visit the Gibson Web site.

Nice Gibson One new Item for 2010 Namm

By: RLawrence (not verified)

I think Gibson's failin guality, along with their poor customer service and support is catching up with them. Plus the legal trouble they are having may very well put Gibson in the history books.
They are barely making payroll now. They brag about inovation, they release these new items with no information books, little support. It reminds me of microsoft back in the '90s. Yet microsoft was much to strong and the management coninuted to make it right with customers. Yet Gibsons Idea of customer service is if you don't like it sell it.
I think your time is up. You are going back to the 1970 era yet you won't make it to the '80s era less pull out of it. It is sad you used to makes such great quality guitars.
Goodbye, or goodridance.
Please No more Gibson les pauls with another name.
Isn't a gibson les paul a guitar. No wait.
Lets try Gibson Les paul Billy gibons.
or Gibson les paul slash.
Isnt that like a Toyata Corolla Camry.
What a sad oximoron, you try to sell guitars with someones name over an icons name. You should be ashamed for ruining this Iconic brand. I think you are but still just buying time.
