Jason Donnelly, aka DJ Puzzle, keeps things straight and to the point with this Gibson Robot Guitar video. Here it is, step by step -- just like that popular 90's sitcom.
- Step One: Detune your guitar so that it sounds absolutely atrocious.
- Step Two: Activate the robotic tuning mechanism and strum the strings.
- Step Three: Play your freshly tuned Robot Guitar.

JASON DONNELLY: You can hear how badly this guitar is out of tune.

JASON DONNELLY: It's horribly out of tune.
PAUL: Yeah.
JASON DONNELLY: That's awful. So, we'll do it again here. Let's pull out the master control knob and then slowly strum your strings.

im assuming it doesnt do different tunings; ie, drop d, drop c, open d5, etc.

you can do all sorts of tunings.
