Gig-FX SubWah Pedal: Bass Version Of MegaWah
Get your hands or feet on the Gig-FX Inc. SubWah ($225 MSRP), the new bass version of the MegaWah. Up for grabs now, the SubWah pedal renews the signature wide-sweep range and funky lows of the Megawah, and adds a tailored touch to the frequency ranges to make it sound more bass-y. Players will enjoy knowing that Bootsy Collins had a hand, and possibly a hat, in the development of the pedal.
The analog pedal offers four settings: a classic wah sound, a very deep bass “sub” wah, a funky envelope wah with adjustable trigger sensitivity, and an auto wah with adjustable rate. Bass frequencies have been preserved to maximize SubWah's response, "quack," and "ping."
In addition, the SubWah features optical switching, noiseless bypassing when the pedal is all the way back, and noiseless switching when the pedal is pressed forward. The adjustable off-delay lets you turn off effects whenever you like. For more details, turn to the Gig-FX Web site.

State of the art indeed! The SubWah uses optical switching and is noiselessly by-passed when the pedal is all the way back and switches on noiselessly when the pedal is pressed forward. The SubWah features a user-adjustable off-delay. What more can you ask for?
