TSI Distributing has announced the latest G Lab release, the BC-1 Boosting Compressor ($339.99 MSRP).

Best used on crunch and overdriven tones, the BC-1 analog guitar pedal is said to provide the boost and compression you need without adding any pumping or breathing artifacts to the sound. The footpedal features an optical component that ensures a low-noise performance and great sound, and a compression setup that matches the specific signal characteristics of electric guitars and basses.

Dual pairs of Boost and Comp controls allow for A and B setups that are switchable via footswitch. A second switch uses noise-free, true bypass optical circuitry to take the BC-1 out of the signal path and ensure total signal transparency. According to G-LAB, the BC-1 Boosting Compressor can also be controlled via its MIDI input.
