Graph Tech GHOST LB63: For Guitarist With Locked Nuts
Graph Tech reaches out to sadomasochists with their new GHOST LB63 locking bridge pickup system for guitars with Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo System. The modular pickup system released prior is joined by the LB63 due to demand from floating bridge fanatics.
Graph Tech concludes that the Floyd Rose Tremolo system is a tool for sound experimentation (or at the very least, tasteless dive-bombing). Thusly, the MIDI and Acoustic features of the GHOST system shan't be denied for hex key wielding six-string-slingers.
For about $320.00 (€First Born Child), you can pimp your Floyd Rose equipped guitar with GHOST String-Saver pickup saddles, Acousti-Phonic preamp, Hexpander preamp, electric-to-acoustic and guitar-to-MIDI switches, volume pots and a momentary up / down program selector.
The components that make up the entire LB63 system are also available individually, so if you're in a financial bind (as I assume mostly anyone interested in a MIDI pickup system must be), you can buy them piece by piece. That's how my parents bought me Legos when I was a kid, and I turned out just fine.
Dave Dunwoodie, founder and President of Graph Tech, released this statement:
"Our GHOST system is known for its studio-quality acoustic tones and fast-tracking hexaphonic output. This is because Graph Tech custom-engineered the system's piezo crystals for perfect acoustic output and reverse engineered the hexaphonic component based on the latest midi controller technology. Because the GHOST LB63 pickups feature Graph Tech String Saver saddles, GHOST musicians also get the benefit of longer string life."
