Gretsch G6120EC Eddie Cochran Tribute: Limited Production Guitar Tells A Harrowing Tale (Video)
February 16, 2010
Legendary Rock N' Roll pioneer Eddie Cochran only lived 21 short years, but his impact on the course of modern western music is far reaching. The Gretsch G6120EC Eddie Cochran Tribute is an impressive homage to the singer, a painstaking recreation of the modified Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins guitar that was found with Cochran when he died.
Gretsch's Joe Carducci gave us a close look at the guitar, and at the wealth of memorabilia -- a lot of it authentic -- that comes with the purchase of a Gretsch G6120EC Eddie Cochran Tribute, and about the impact that building this guitar might have on future Gretsch designs.
