Tim explains the major differences between laminate, solid top and all solid wood guitars and shows how to differentiate between the three in terms of appearance, sound and feel.

... but they all sound poor
This chap makes sense while he's talking but the recording of the actual guitar sounds lets him down. The first 2 sound identical, and the third merely a little more mellow.
