Hartman Electronics Compressor Coming Out

October 22, 2007
Hartman Compressor announced

The Hartman Electronics Compressor may conjure sonic images of classic 70s compressions - namely the original Orange Squeezer. Hartman harnesses that same simplicity in a compact stompbox.

Hartman uses a combination of hand-picked N.O.S. (new old-stock) components with a flexible, ultra-quiet, modern signal-path. This keeps the tight, transparent squeeze and soft-clipping in key with vintage compressors while updating them with external Ratio and Gain Control, LED, and true-bypass switching - bringing some future into the past like Michael J. Fox in that one movie.

External Ratio control gives users instantaneous access to all levels of compression. Throw in as much or as little additional gain, and the Hartman Compressor can run clean or as a boost or overdrive. Even high ratios of compression remain unscathed by transients and pumping because the Hartman boasts fast attack and transparent release.
