Homegrown Sounds SoundScaper: Scape Sound With Homegrown
You know those museums that don't charge an entry fee, but they strongly suggest a donation amount? Homegrown Sounds SoundScaper is kind of like that, only it's over the internet, so there aren't any museum staffers to stare you down in disappointment. Of course, if you don't donate, I hope those museum attendees haunt your dreams with their scowling visages. Unlike a museum, however, SoundScaper is a VST Effect Plugin for Windows Users that provides Rever, Echo and Comb effects.
These effects aid the creation of atmospheric landscapes which claims nearly infinite feedback time, although there's no way that HGSounds could've tested this out for proof unless this product has been in beta for over half of infinity already. Nonetheless, that little fact-check doesn't take away its abilities to create complex drones or just traditional reverb and echo if you're not George Harrison.
SoundScaper uses 300 datasets of comb / allpass timings to provide different effects models. You can add on any of 33 different multipliers that guide you through tight, comb-based effects to reverbs and echo banks. HGSounds also includes a randomization system to provide instant, usable patches. Initially, this plugin was meant to be based off of Homegrown's Freeverb, but it has been expanded and optimized past that.
